Demi Lovato writes, “I knew I loved you the moment I met you.”
Singer Demi Lovato is head over heels in love with her fiance, 27-year-old actor Max Ehrich, after she revealed on Thursday that she's engaged to be married.
On Instagram, the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer revealed, “When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his 'little partner' --- something that might've sounded strange without his southern cowboy little accent.
“To me, it made perfect sense. And today, that word makes perfect sense again but today I'm officially going to be someone else's partner.”
She then told Max, “I knew I loved you the moment I met you.
“It was something I can't describe to anyone who hasn't experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too… I've never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all.
“You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself.
“I am honored to accept your hand in marriage. I love you more than a caption could express but I'm ecstatic to start a family and life with you.
“I love you forever, my baby.”
Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich were reported to have started dating around March 2020 although it is unclear when or how the two stars have met.
Rumors began to speculate that the two were dating when fans suspected that Demi had been liking and commenting on Max's post.
It also didn't help that Max posted a black-and-white video of himself singing “Yellow” by Coldplay with the caption “4D,” followed by a rose and heart emoji, presumably dedicated to Demi.
Media outlets like People Magazine and E! News then confirmed that two are dating and had been quarantining together amid the spread of the virus.
A source told E! News that Max was “a good influence on Dami because they have a lot in common.”
Since then, the two have been inseparable.
On July 22, Max surprised Demi with an emerald-cut diamond engagement ring that is estimated by jewelers to be roughly $500,000 to $1 million.
